how to build an accurate model in single mode in vahaduo if i have mixed origin?
#1
Should i use all population, or intially put 4-5 population in the source? and are they any official guides on this topic? also, if in vahaduo i use the full sample, but limit it to 3-5 populations, complete nonsense will come out, but in illustrativeDNA its better(although it can give me about 10 percent greeks, apparently the ancient component.

A good model shouldn't have more than 4- 5 populations, otherwise it is just overfitting, so no need to use interchangeable populations.

For example of you have Estonia and Lithuania doesn't make sense to have them both, one of them will suffice, and will sct as a baltic proxy, no need to overfit the model.

Most people don't know how to use with horrible bad models, with hundreds of pops...
