You are the 3rd person that I have seen (the other being on Reddit), including myself, from the south/southeast/Appalachia that got Belgium under their Germanic Europe. I do not find it accurate, but my German is essentially all old stock NRW/Rhineland Palatinate area so is it possible that DNA is just very similar to Belgium? I mean proximity wise that's still very close.
Also, what were your Scottish results in previous updates? Have you seen it trending down the last few updates? Mine has gone 42 --> 21 --> 19 --> 10

My Scotish has remained basically the same for years. 2022-20% 2023-24% 2024-23% before that there was one year where a lot of people got too much and I was 35%. In 2018 it was Ireland, Scotland, Wales at 28%.
I'm a direct decendent of several German families from the Germanna colony in Virginia, 1700s. Germans were from Gemmingen, Heilbronn, Baden-Wuerttemberg Germany. This area is about 350 miles from Belgium. I don't know for sure without further research but Belgium could be accurate for me.
My Scottish comes mostly from the Imigrants that landed in North Carolina and a few from Pennsylvania. My parents were from adjoining counties in Northwestern Tennessee. Their ancestors were originally from mostly North Carolina and Virginia. After the Revolutionary war, the government gave some veterans in North Carolina land in Tennessee. One of my Journeys is East North Carolina, "inner coastal plains Settlers" So here we are.

How long does the edit button last? I wrote that previous post just over 12 hours ago and already I can't edit it! Surely a minimum of 24 hours would make more sense?
