People who are indigenous American (Fully and almost fully) - Jalisciense - 10-02-2023

Post people results who are scoring 90-100% Indigenous American.

It doesn't matter the DNA test or if it's Gedmatch/G25.

A lot of people asked me what I look like with 94% Native DNA.
Quote:In my previous post, several people asked about my appearance since my DNA results show I’m 94% Nahua/Otomi (I'm from Mexico City). So here I’m sharing my results again along with a photo.

Quote:From the glorious lands of Tlaxcala, very based and uh definitely pilled up, hehe. (on numerous pills) South-Eastern region bordering Puebla, approximately location; Ayometla.

82 percent oh wow holy shid. Higher than I expected, which in turn made me ecstatic. Very clean Big Grin

Are the trace amounts just noise though? The Broadly Central Asian is expected as it is usually confused with Native American along with Northern Asian. But the Chinese Dai and Indonesian is very specific idk. NA is probably Berber? Though I’m just guessing.

OP's mother is 96.7% indigenous per 23andMe

Quote:Here are my results
My maternal grandmother is Ute Mountain Ute. My maternal grandfather is San Juan Southern Paiute. Keep in mind these are names given by the Europeans. The Utes and Paiutes are VERY close.
The Maya trace only came up for my mom but not for me. We do not have any ties to Mexico except for the ancient language of Uto-Aztecan that extends in the southwest of the US and Mexico. Here is a link about my tribe. Uto-Aztecan isn’t in any of the Mayan language families. My mother and her siblings speak the Native Ute/Paiute language fluently. I am the first generation of the family to be mixed.
Since we are such a small tribe and 23&me doesn’t have much of a database for us; it makes sense there is not a specific location or tribal assignment and will place us with the closest “possible” match even though we have been in the Rocky Mountains for thousands of years.
As for Asian/North African results… that can be traced to very ancient migrations I’m assuming - which still makes my mom 100% Native American.
Edit: let me say I only say US and Mexico to reflect modern times! There was no “United States and Mexico Border” for the indigenous.
